The ancient oaks, impeccably manicured fairways and greens, and spectacular panoramic views of the Santa Ynez River and nearby Santa Ynez Mountains make our two 18-hole championship courses a favorite among golf aficionados. With both open year-round, choose from the classic par 72, 6,500-yard Ranch Course or the par 72, 6,800-yard River Course.

Ranch Course At a Glance
Designed by legendary Billy Bell, Jr., Alisal’s Ranch Course originally opened in 1956 and is exclusively for our guests and club members. This picturesque course is surrounded by venerable oaks, sycamores, and eucalyptus trees, and was designed around an imposing barranca that winds through the entire course. The Ranch Course is an excellent test for the seasoned golfer.

River Course at a Glance
Open since 1992, the River Course carries on the tradition of championship golf at Alisal. The setting for the course is along the Santa Ynez River, with the mountains forming a majestic panorama in the distance. The River Course is open to the public, and is ideal for beginners, as well as families.
