GUIDED CYCLING
Alisal is surrounded by diverse country roads and scenic vistas, making it one of the most sought after cycling destinations in the world. With prime cycling conditions, some of the world’s top cyclists flock to the valley to train throughout the year. Long-time Alisal employee, Eric Larsen, has developed an exclusive program of guided cycling tours where guests can experience the varied terrain of the Santa Ynez Valley firsthand.
Alisal offers guests a variety of routes throughout the valley including: Figueroa Mountain Route, Jalama Beach Route, Foxen Canyon Road, The Amgen Time Trial Route, Santa Rosa Loop, and an ambitious Highway One Loop.

Dates:

BEST VALUE:
ROUND-UP VACATION
Alisal will be offering their special “Round-Up Vacation” Package from September-May. Unlimited golf, horseback riding on the regularly scheduled two-hour rides, access to the Fitness Center and Spa, tennis and fishing are included in the regular price of a room for two.
Availability:
The Round-Up Vacation Package is offered on stays of two or more consecutive nights, Sunday through Thursday from September – May. It is also offered on weekends from November through March. Holiday and summer restrictions apply. Inclusive activities begin at 1:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and end at noon on the day of departure.
Golf carts and boats are additional.

BBQ LOVERS:
BBQ BOOTCAMP
Alisal will host the 3rd Annual BBQ Bootcamp with special guest Hitching Post II owner Frank Ostini. Alisal has been specializing in barbecue for over 60 years and during this three-night, four-day program, guests will hone their grilling skills, gain grilling confidence, and learn the ins-and-outs of Santa Maria-style BBQ from Alisal Executive Chef Pascal Godé and Chef Ostini. Each morning is focused on a different aspect of grilling and afternoons are free for horseback riding, golf, or a visit to the spa. In the evenings, local winemakers are on hand to pour some of the rich varietals for which the Santa Ynez wine region is known.

FLY FISHING:
ALISAL ANGLERS’ PACKAGE
Alisal’s 100-acre spring-fed lake is one of the best places in California for year-round fly fishing and is home to Northern Strain Large Mouth Bass. Jason Grupp, Alisal’s Orvis-endorsed guide, specializes in the sport using traditional spinning tackle and fly fishing gear to help guests track down their fish. Alisal Lake also features an Orvis fly shop and offers a diverse fleet of boats including bass boats, electric trolling boats and other recreational boats.
